Rodney House
In refurbishing and extending their family home the Rodneys needed to equip it for their son who is profoundly disabled. They did not want the house to feel in any way institutional however and, while some areas were required to accommodate special equipment, the intention was otherwise to make the house as normal as possible.
In addition to opening out the ground floor to wheelchair access, haa design created a bright and open family room with space for a variety of activities, and direct access into the garden and the carport.
