Hugh
Anderson, BA (Oxon), BSc, DipArch
- Managing Director
Hugh Anderson is an architect
with more than 30 years experience. He trained
at the University of the Witwaterstand, Oxford
University and the School of Environmental Studies
London. Before establishing Hugh Anderson Associates
in 1994, he was a director with DEGW and DEGW
Twijnstra in The Netherlands. Besides being involved
with design and consultancy projects, Hugh contributes
to various design and management journals and
lecture courses. For three years he was an external
examiner in professional practice at Strathclyde
University and an examiner in interior architecture
at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.

Gillian
Stewart, BA(Hons)- Director
Gillian Stewart - former
head of DEGW in Scotland - has recently joined
haa design, following the merger
of DEGW with Davis Langdon. Gillian brings
with her outstanding design talent and a wealth
of experience, having worked with a string of
major clients both within the UK and abroad including
BP, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Phillips, RBS, Standard
Life and law firms McGrigors and Maclay Murray
& Spens. |

David Crowe, MA(Hons),
Dip Arch - Director David
is an architect with 13 years experience designing
and managing a variety of projects. David was trained
at Edinburgh University. Before joining haa
design in 2003 he was an associate director
with GCA Architects where he was responsible for
a variety of major residential, health, sport and
commercial projects. Since joining haa design
he has been responsible for various new build office
projects. |

Jean Camplisson,
BA(Hons) - Director
Jean is an interior designer with a wide
range of experience working for major clients.
Having trained at the Duncan of Jordanstone College
of Art in Dundee she worked for 4 years with Howard
& Unick Architects, then DEGW Scotland (1990-94)
before joining haa design in
1995. Jean became an associate with haa
design in 2000 and a director in 2004.
Major clients with haa design
have included TASCO, Tarmac, The Film Council,
Maclay Murray & Spens and Hymans Robertson.

Fiona
Linton - Office
Manager & Company Secretary
Fiona
has been with
haa design
since its inception in 1994, having previously
worked for major architectural practices in both
London and Glasgow. Fiona has worked as a personal
secretary and office manager and was made an associate
of haa design in 2000, becoming company secretary
in 2004.

Asha
Narbutt, BA, DipArch
Asha
is a fully qualified architect, trained at Kingston.
Before joining haa design in
1999 Asha spent eight years in architectural practices
in London before moving up to Scotland where she
set up NBA architects. Projects included collaboration
with The Scottish Arts Council and St Judes primary
school to develop a participatory approach to
school design. Projects with haa design
have included a major conversion of a private
house and the design of an advanced biotech facility
at West of Scotland Science Park. Asha
became an Associate of haa design in
2006. |

Mhairi
Ross, BA(Hons), HND
Mhairi is an interior designer, having
qualified at the Glasgow School of Art in 2000
and previously at Cardonald College for Industrial
Design in 1997. Mhairi has been with haa
design since July 2000 and has worked
on a variety of projects for clients including
DLA, Tarmac, Maclay Murray & Spens, Land &
Property Management and HBG. |

Katherine
Strachan Davis, BArch (Hons), DipArch
Katherine
trained at Edinburgh College of Art, Ludwig Maximilians
University in Munich and the Royal Art Academy
in Copenhagen, and is fluent in German. Before
joining haa design in 2003 Katherine
worked with LDN Architects in Edinburgh and then
CMM Architects in Glasgow. Katherine is currently
busy with various education projects. Katherine
became an Associate of haa design
in 2007. |

Gordon
Yeaman, BA (Hons)
Gordon
qualified at the Glasgow School of Art in 2005
and joined the interiors team at haa design
in 2006 . He is currently working
on various refurbishment projects including projects
for South Lanarkshire Council. |

Gillian
Lockyer MA(Hons), Dip
Arch
Gillian Lockyer qualified as an architect in 2001
from the University of Strathclyde and has worked
in both Scotland and Australia. Gillian
has experience in major office new build and fit-out
projects. She joined haa design
in January 2007 and is currently responsible
for the refurbishment of a listed 1960's office
building outside of Edinburgh. Gillian was
made an Associate in 2008. |

Lynne Semple
BA(Hons)
Lynne Semple joined haa design
in April 2007. She is an excellent interior
designer with experience in retail design.
Lynne is currently working on various projects
for South Lanarkshire Council. |

Lee Gardiner, BSc(Hons), MArch
Lee joined haa design in January
2009. She qualified as an Architect in 2007
from the University of Strathclyde, and previously
worked for RMJM. Lee is currently working on projects
for Adam Smith College and Arup Scotland. |

Lesley Mutton
Lesley is our newest member of staff, joining
haa design in October 2009. She previously
worked alongside Gillian Stewart at DEGW on a variety
of projects for, amongst others, Scottish Oceans
Institute, Standard Life, Building Schools for the
Future, Leicester Council, Rolls Royce and Cisco.
We look forward to her becoming another valued member
of the team. |
