09/09 - haa design  are delighted to announce that Gillian Stewart, formerly UK director of strategy and design at DEGW has this week joined haa design in Glasgow as director.

In a quirk of fate, she is re-joining Hugh Anderson, Managing Director of haa design, who first set up DEGW's Scottish operation in 1985 and she will now join design consortia working on several major projects, including the proposed £300m New Campus Glasgow development.

Gillian is a member of the Chartered Society of Designers and the British Council for Offices, as well as being a qualified interior designer.  Past projects include work with BP, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Phillips, RBC, Standard Life and law firms McGrigors and Maclay Murray & Spens.

Hugh Anderson of haa design said: “The ethos of design and consultancy being inextricably linked is the foundation of our business and we're delighted to both welcome a like minded individual and to add Gillian's extensive international experience to the team.

05/09 - haa design have moved !  Work is now complete on phase 1 of our new office refurb - and we successfully moved in at the end of May. We have many people to thank for their hard work.  For our new details click here

02/09 - haa design have been involved with the education sector for a number of years now, but more recently with some of the FE and HE establishments in the UK as they review their estates in light of recent reports compiled for Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and Scottish Funding Council (SFC).  The reports cover topics from changing learning and teaching styles to the management of technology rich and social learning spaces.  haa design have recently completed projects with West Lothian College, London South Bank University, University of Glasgow and Strathclyde University.  We are about to embark on projects with Kilmarnock College, Adam Smith College and our ongoing work with Banff & Buchan College comes to fruition with the release of an Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) for works to continue so that the College realise the campus vision for 2012.

10/08 - haa design are on the move ! After 10 years in Central Chambers we have outgrown our current space.  We are currently in negotiation for new space within the Merchant City and look forward to welcoming clients old and new to our new home in 2009.
