Banff & Buchan College

Following their study “Spaces for Learning” haa design worked with Banff & Buchan College to see how they could upgrade their campus to meet new standards in learning and teaching. This work culminated in the submission of an “Outline Business Case” to the Scottish Funding Council in support of an application for grant funding. Proposals for the “new” College consisted of an imaginative reworking of their existing buildings to provide a major “learning street”, a new circulation route through the previously ill-used external courtyards incorporating new support facilities and 1400m2 of self directed learning space.
