The Joint Information Systems Committee appointed haa design, together with Les Watson to address the issue of the “design and management of technology-rich open plan learning and teaching spaces”. The study involved a questionnaire, telephone interviews and then visits to ten of the most significant installations in England, Scotland and Wales. This was followed by case studies of six installations and a report published by JISC on the ‘JISC Infonet’.
