haa design carried
out various projects for DLA in Scotland before project
management was centralised from their head office in Leeds. In
Glasgow haa design examined
the general arrangement of their front entrance area which
suffers from the fact that it drops down from pavement
level with the reception desk hidden round the corner behind
a large column. In addition to improving visibility,
increasing the amount and the versatility of the meeting
space, haa design showed
how the rather tired ’70’s’ building
might be given a more dynamic image in line with what was
now an international company. In Edinburgh haa design similarly
showed how space might be increased and facilities improved,
at least until such time as new premises are found. |
