Following their successful fit-out of Hyman’s new offices in Glasgow, haa design were asked to address the issue of their offices in London.  Preliminary exercises showed that it would be cost effective to relocate, and haa design undertook the search and negotiations for the new premises which eventually resulted in the selection of a modern building at One London Wall.  The space planning concept for the general office space involves the location of ‘pods’ which provide special facilities of different sorts.  The pods structure the space to create a form of open plan which is free flowing but suitably protected, providing  personal scale and a variety of different types of working space.  The combination suits a successful and constantly changing professional firm needing both quiet workspace and continuous interaction between teams.
