Maclay Murray & Spens (MMS) occupied two buildings in Glasgow’s city centre and needed to rationalise into smaller, more efficient premises. haa design created a workplace strategy and a supporting space planning approach to allow MMS to relocate into a reduced footprint while incorporating future growth and change. MMS moved to their new offices in the prestigious G1 Building in Glasgow’s George Square in 2011.
haa design liaised closely with MMS’ steering group and staff to refine their required mix of spaces and to understand critical business adjacencies across the various departments.
As part of the ongoing liaison we also worked with MMS’ marketing team to evolve a successful graphic solution for the interior design.
The fit out addresses all aspects of the brief – creating a branded, landscaped, modern, open plan workplace solution which has reduced the company’s overheads while improving performance.
